Volleyball Recap: Olathe North Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shawnee Mission East, Olathe North was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lawrence Lions by a score of 3-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

While Olathe North might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lawrence scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19.

Olathe North's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-11. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 6-19.

Coming up, Olathe North will welcome Olathe East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrence, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Washburn Rural on the 18th.
