Volleyball Preview: Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs vs. Columbus North Bull Dogs        
        
		
             After three games on the road, Franklin Community is heading back home. They will host the Columbus North Bull Dogs  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Tuesday,  everything went Franklin Community's way against Beech Grove as Franklin Community made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Franklin Community took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4,  25-8.
 Franklin Community relied on the efforts of   Kate Pinnick, who  had four  aces, and   MacKenzie Waterman, who  had four  aces. Those four  aces gave  Waterman a new career-high.
 She wasn't the only good server: Franklin Community  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 29  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Columbus North waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Panthers.
 Columbus North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-18, 25-20,  25-16.
 Franklin Community's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Columbus North, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 16-14 record  this season.
 Franklin Community took their  victory against Columbus North  when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. Will Franklin Community repeat their success,  or does  Columbus North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
