Softball Recap: Trinity Catholic Celtics vs. South Sumter Raiders

Trinity Catholic won the last time they faced South Sumter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trinity Catholic Celtics walked away with a 6-2 win over the South Sumter Raiders.

Liliana Ornelas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned runs in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kristina Fogelman was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also put up a stolen base, which washer first of the season.
