Baseball Recap: Orange County Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Orange County won against Western Albemarle on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Fighting Hornets beat the Goochland Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. This was payback for the Fighting Hornets, who suffered a 5-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Orange County pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Goochland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
