Basketball Recap: Summit Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Leadership Academy lost against Academy of Careers & Exploration back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The match between the Summit Leadership Academy EAGLES and the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle didn't end well, with the Summit Leadership Academy EAGLES falling 53-37. The contest marked the EAGLES's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Summit Leadership Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Leadership Academy and Victor Valley Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Summit Leadership Academy is facing Victor Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Victor Valley Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, they will venture away from home to challenge Lakeview Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
