Volleyball Game Preview: La Jolla Vikings vs. Westview Wolverines

The La Jolla Vikings will face off against the Westview Wolverines at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. La Jolla is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, La Jolla came up short against Mission Bay and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Westview entered their matchup against Torrey Pines on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Falcons. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolverines haven't been shut out since back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for La Jolla, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

La Jolla beat Westview 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2018. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
