Soccer Game Preview: Conway vs. Catholic

The Conway Wampus Cats will take on the Catholic Rockets at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Conway's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Conway sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Bryant.

George Ross and Matthew Aikman scored both of the Wampus Cats' goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Catholic was forced to settle for a draw. They and Jonesboro finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. With that draw, Catholic's record moves to 3-0-1.

Conway suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Wampus Cats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
