Soccer Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Edison after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Matawan Regional Huskies by a score of 2-1. Edison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Matawan Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Matawan Regional, they will venture away from home to take on Wall Township at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
