Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Niles West's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Niles West's tournament run continued when they took on West Aurora on Saturday. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Blackhawks 2-1.

Niles West is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for West Aurora, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Niles West and West Aurora should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Wolves (ranked 23rd) will meet Vernon Hills (ranked 128th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Aurora will square off against Bartlett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (48 vs. 215).
