Baseball Recap: Dassel-Cokato Takes a Loss

Dassel-Cokato lost against Watertown-Mayer back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers fell just short of the Royals by a score of 5-4. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Torola was cooking despite his team's loss, earning two runs and three stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Jacskon Yanke, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Dassel-Cokato now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Watertown-Mayer, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dassel-Cokato will head out to challenge Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watertown-Mayer, they will venture away from home to take on Annandale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
