Softball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

Troy was the 15-0 winner over Midd-West when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Saturday.

Danielle Roy made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was her first of the season. Maddyson Muir was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Troy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Midd-West, their record now sits at 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Troy will head out to square off against Wyalusing Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Midd-West, they are taking a road trip to take on Shamokin Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
