Basketball Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

If Greenwood was feeling good fresh off their 57-10 takedown of Warren Central on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenwood Gators had to suffer through a 67-36 loss at the hands of the Marshall County Marshals. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Marshals recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Marshall County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenwood will take on Butler County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Greenwood is facing Butler County at the right time seeing as Butler County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marshall County, they will challenge Murray at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
