Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Berlin West). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers a 16-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Vikings have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for New Berlin West and bumps their season record up to 7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Shoreland Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1.
