Basketball Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss

Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 63-44 fall against the Muscle Shoals Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 215th in Tennessee, while the Trojans are ranked 68th in Alabama).

Lawrence County now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Muscle Shoals, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Lawrence County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-38 win against Columbia Central on the 13th. As for Muscle Shoals, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-52 victory against Good Hope on the 14th.
