Volleyball Recap: Seymour Eagles vs. Sequoyah Chiefs

The Seymour Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Sequoyah Chiefs on Monday, taking the game 2-0.

Seymour never let Sequoyah on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17.

Abigail Prado paced Seymour's offense, picking up nine kills. Prado got some help from Makenzie Warner and her eight assists. Warner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The win got Seymour back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Seymour will face off against South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sequoyah, they will square off against Sweetwater at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
