Softball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the Seneca Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Seneca, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland will take on Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seneca, they will challenge Serena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
