Basketball Recap: Luke Fulda's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cross over Savannah Classical Academy

Cross lost against Savannah Classical Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cross Stingrays came up short against the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans, falling 61-37. The defeat leaves the Stingrays without a win on the season.

Cross lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Luke Fulda, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Nicastro, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points.

Cross' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Savannah Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Cross wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-41 defeat against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 10th. Savannah Classical Academy has also already played their next game, a 54-29 victory against Royal Live Oaks Academy on the 9th.
