There's no place like home for Lakeside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Statesboro Blue Devils on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

The critical scores for Lakeside came from Chloe Collins, Ella Carlton, and Ellie Clemente.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Statesboro, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeside will square off against Oconee County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Statesboro, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Richmond Hill at 5:00 p.m. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 3.8 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
