Basketball Recap: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Medicine Valley Raiders
Arapahoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Medicine Valley Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-37 on January 10th.

Arapahoe's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Koller, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Those nine points gave Koller a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Shafer, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
Even though they lost, Arapahoe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. This was only their 13th loss (out of 14 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Arapahoe's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Medicine Valley, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Arapahoe will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brady at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Medicine Valley, they will face off against Southern Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
