Basketball Recap: Cypress Ridge Comes Up Short

Cypress Ridge lost against Stratford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cypress Ridge Rams received a blow as they fell 51-32 to the Stratford Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 996th, while the Spartans are ranked 390th).

Cypress Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season. As for Stratford, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-9.

Cypress Ridge will host Cypress Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratford, they will face off against Memorial at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
