Football Recap: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Crescent Tigers

Walhalla extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were beaten by the Crescent Tigers 67-20. If the Razorbacks were looking for revenge after losing 42-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Crescent, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games.

A big part of Crescent's victory came down to the chemistry between Mason Evans and his top target Amiri Acker. Evans threw for 315 yards and six touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes while Acker picked up 246 receiving yards and five scores. Those 246 receiving yards gave Acker a new career-high. Kevin Hatten helped Evans out on the ground, rushing for 103 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.
