Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Wins Going Away Against Howland

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walsh Jesuit, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Howland Tigers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rough Riders also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

While Roosevelt might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Howland scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 28-22.

Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Howland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Roosevelt will face off against Louisville at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Howland, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North on the 28th.
