Torres moved up to 695 from 854 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central. The Toros were able to move up by topping Sotomayor 48-16.

Torres took down the Wolves 48-16 last week, the largest margin of any game. David Frontanez threw for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Peter Cuevas' team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Erick German chipped in 133 yards. Jose Munive helped Torres' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.

The Toros' dynamic duo of Frontanez and Robert Castro proved to be unstoppable against Sotomayor, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Munive helped Torres' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 33 yards.

German was a passing and rushing force as Torres defeated Danny Castro's team. German's key target this week was Castro, who caught 3 passes for 80 yards.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Miguel Torres. The Roybal star has 18 catches for 341 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Bernstein takes on second place Torres.

The league will see a high scoring game when the Toros and Bernstein face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Torres comes in having scored 92 this season, while the Dragons have scored 128. The Toros scored 48 points last week as they bested the Wolves.
