Basketball Game Preview: Potlatch Loggers vs. Logos Knights

Potlatch and Logos are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Potlatch Loggers will welcome the Logos Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Potlatch is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Troy 71-48 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Loggers have posted since December 19, 2024.

Meanwhile, Logos hadn't done well against Lapwai recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Logos walked away with a 67-55 victory over Lapwai. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Logos had a senior duo take command as Seamus Wilson posted 27 points along with eight boards and five assists and Lucius Comis dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Wilson's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jes Brower, who put up four points.

Logos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Potlatch, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Potlatch and Logos were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but Potlatch came up empty-handed after a 64-63 loss. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wilson, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 22 points and seven boards.
