Softball Recap: Malad Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Malad put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Declo Hornets a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 20 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Shulz was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Bostyn Combs, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Malad's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Declo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Malad nor Declo have any future games scheduled.
