Volleyball Recap: Steele Canyon Beats West Hills for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Steele Canyon waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the West Hills Wolf Pack. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Steele Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-23.

Taylor Carpenter paced Steele Canyon's offense, picking up 17 kills. Carpenter got some help from Maddison Barefield and her 16 assists. Audrey Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Steele Canyon's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for West Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.

Steele Canyon will challenge Redlands at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Hills, they are taking a road trip to face off against Monte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
