Preview: Model Blue Devils vs. Therrell Panthers
The Model Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Therrell Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Model is ranked 227th, while Therrell is ranked 223rd).
Two weeks ago, Model got themselves on the board against Gordon Central, but Gordon Central never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 34-0 win over the Warriors at home. The result was nothing new for Model, who have now won three matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Therrell entered their tilt with Business Engineering Science Tech with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Therrell skirted past Business Engineering Science Tech 23-20.
Model has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Therrell, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
