Musselman came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Applemen also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Musselman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alycia Miller led the charge by getting 21 digs. Miller is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Ganse, who had seven digs and two aces.

Notre Dame's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Callie McCormick, who had 13 digs and two aces, and Addison Kitchings, who had eight digs and four assists.

Musselman's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Musselman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Spring Mills on the 13th. As for Notre Dame, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Elizabethton on the 13th.
