Softball Recap: Mission Heights Prep Wins Going Away Against Imagine Prep Superstition

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridgeline Academy, Mission Heights Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 31-3 margin over the Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers. Considering the Phantoms have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hadley Feik was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Shelby Ortega was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Mission Heights Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .919. They are 6-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Mission Heights Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Imagine Prep Superstition, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

As of now, neither Mission Heights Prep nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
