Basketball Recap: East Troy Takes a Loss

East Troy lost against New Berlin West back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Troy Trojans were dealt an 86-41 loss at the hands of the New Berlin West Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Vikings are ranked 101st).

East Troy dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for New Berlin West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

East Troy is taking a road trip to take on Big Foot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Big Foot knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully East Troy likes a good challenge. As for New Berlin West, they will venture away from home to square off against Pius XI Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
