Softball Recap: Apple Valley Takes a Loss

Apple Valley and South St. Paul squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Apple Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Packers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Apple Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-14. As for South St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

As of now, neither Apple Valley nor the Packers have any future games scheduled.
