Volleyball Recap: Sofia Shultz Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Landmark + How To Watch

Cambridge lost to Landmark back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Gryphons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gryphons.

One reason for the win was Cambridge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-1.

Cambridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sofia Shultz out in front who had nine digs and two assists.

Cambridge was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Cambridge will square off against Newman at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Landmark, they will face off against Covenant Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
