Football Recap: Fremont-Mills Takes a Loss

Fremont-Mills was the 44-0 winner over Audubon when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights had to suffer through a 40-8 loss at the hands of the Wheelers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fremont-Mills' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Audubon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Fremont-Mills is taking a road trip to take on Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Audubon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glidden-Ralston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wheelers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
