Football Game Preview: Giltner Hornets vs. Lawrence-Nelson Raiders + How To Watch

Giltner hasn't had much luck against Lawrence-Nelson recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Brody Rudy and Wyatt Frey.

Giltner played against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Giltner will be up against a hot Lawrence-Nelson squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Raiders claimed a resounding 73-8 victory over High Plains. Considering the Raiders have won four contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lawrence-Nelson's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Giltner, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Giltner was taken down by Lawrence-Nelson 72-20 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hornets were down 56-6.
