Basketball Recap: East Surry Starts Season with Victory Against Alleghany + How To Watch

East Surry took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Alleghany Trojans by a score of 37-29. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Connor Ramirez and John Lemasters certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Ramirez posted 13 points, while Lemasters put up six points along with five boards and three blocks.

East Surry has already played their next matchup, a 59-42 loss against Ledford on the 20th. As for Alleghany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 41-38 victory against North Surry on the 21st.
