Volleyball Recap: Wauseon Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Anaya Gonzales and Halle Fogarty + How To Watch

Wauseon was the 3-2 winner over Paulding when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Monday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 23-25, 25-13.

Wauseon's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Halle Fogarty, who had 13 digs, and Anaya Gonzales, who had nine digs.

Wauseon's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Paulding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Wauseon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Evergreen on the 30th. As for Paulding, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hicksville on the 30th.
