Softball Recap: Greene County Falls Short of Purvis in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Greene County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Purvis Tornadoes by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Wildcats were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five matchups prior), but the Tornadoes' pitchers proved too tough.
