Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill lost against Eastern back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oak Hill Oaks took a hard 52-38 fall against the Eastern Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Oaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Eagles are ranked 155th).

Oak Hill has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Eastern, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will face off against South Gallia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they and Minford will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
