Concord Christian entered their tilt with Chattanooga Christian on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since September 23, 2024.

Concord Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Chattanooga Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 24-26, 22-25, 15-6.

Manhattan Shuler went supernova, getting eight digs and four aces. What's more, she racked up 18 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Shuler wasn't the only good server: Concord Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matches.

Concord Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Chattanooga Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord Christian will face off against Grace Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chattanooga Christian, they will challenge Baylor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
