Sanford waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They blew past the Trinidad Miners, posting a 49-22 victory. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Miners are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sanford pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.2 points over those games. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

As of now, neither Sanford nor Trinidad have any future games scheduled.
