Soccer Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woods Cross Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Woods Cross this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Woods Cross, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skyline will take on rival Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Woods Cross is set to challenge their familiar foe Bountiful at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
