Basketball Recap: Spanish Fort Comes Up Short

Spanish Fort was the 32-26 winner over Gulf Shores when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Spanish Fort Toros fell 56-45 to the Gulf Shores Dolphins on Tuesday. The Toros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spanish Fort's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Gulf Shores, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanish Fort will head out to take on Baldwin County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf Shores, they are taking a road trip to challenge McGill-Toolen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
