Volleyball Preview: Timnath Cubs vs. University Bulldogs
The Timnath Cubs will head out to square off against the University Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Timnath took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Roosevelt. The Cubs haven't had any issues with the Roughriders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
The victory didn't come easy: Roosevelt scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-23, 25-19.
Meanwhile, University made easy work of Liberty Common on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.
