It was a good run, but O'Fallon unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Breese Central Cougars by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, O'Fallon sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-22.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Breese Central, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

O'Fallon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cor Jesu Academy on the 4th. As for Breese Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Belleville East on the 4th.
