After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holmen, Sparta was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Tomah Timberwolves with a sharp 31-7 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Sparta's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2. As for Tomah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
