Basketball Recap: Aurora Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Aurora Houn Dawgs didn't have quite enough to beat the Nevada Tigers and fell 32-30. The contest marked the Houn Dawgs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Aurora's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 16-4. As for Nevada, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Aurora will challenge Doniphan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nevada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
