Softball Recap: Ipswich Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Ipswich's offense. They came up short against the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks on Wednesday, falling 17-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Ipswich saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elin Roberts, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Ipswich's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Ipswich has already played their next matchup (against Rockport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School, they will square off against Lynnfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
