Basketball Recap: West Canada Valley Takes a Loss

West Canada Valley was the 50-45 winner over Oriskany when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The West Canada Valley Nighthawks received a blow on Sunday as they fell 56-41 to the Oriskany Skyhawks. The Nighthawks were down 42-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

West Canada Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Oriskany, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Poland the next time they take the court. Oriskany will head out to face Poland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while West Canada Valley will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
