Baseball Game Preview: Walnut Wildcats vs. Potts Camp Cardinals

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Walnut Wildcats challenge Potts Camp Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Walnut came up short against Ingomar and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Potts Camp came up short against Thrasher on Friday, falling 15-4.

Potts Camp's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Walnut, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Walnut came out on top in a nail-biter against Potts Camp when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. Does Walnut have another victory up their sleeve, or will Potts Camp turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
