Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. American Eagles

Kennedy hasn't had much luck against American recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Titans will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kennedy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Irvington, falling 3-0.

Kennedy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, American didn't have quite enough to beat James Logan on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, American sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-10, 27-29, 26-24, 16-25, 15-11.

American now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-21.
